Carl “Butch” Madjeski Mosciwjewski, 67, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His brother Douglas preceded him in death last year.
Butch was born on February 6, 1958 in Wilkes-Barre to the late Theodore and Dorothy Madjeski Mosciwjewski. He graduated from Meyers High School and worked as a plumber for many years.
He was a proud member of the SAL Post 815 Wilkes-Barre Twp. and Catholic War Veterans.
Butch loved Budweiser, 49ers football, and NASCAR and had a sense of humor that was unmatched.
Butch is survived by his lifelong partner Dorene Maloney, brothers Theodore Madjeski Jr. and Robert Madjeski, daughter Stephanie Madjeski, step-son and wife, 4 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5-7pm at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, PA.
