Richard P. Olshan, 79 of Shavertown, passed away on July 31, 2025.
He was the son of the late Michael and Ruth Olshan and a 1964 graduate of GAR High School.
Richard was a longtime employee of Medico Industries where he worked until his retirement. He was also a Little League umpire for many years and a train enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol and siblings Robert, Doris Kammerer, Marlene Scully, and Donald.
Richard will be deeply missed by his son Tom Perlis and fiancée Sandy Turonis, grandchildren Kayla Salvaggio and husband Anthony, Samantha Frazier and husband Sean, Gia Turonis and Sal Turonis, great-grandchildren Caroline, Colton, Sophia, and Kinsleigh, brother David, and extended family and friends.
At his request, there are no services. Arrangements are by Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish Street Wilkes-Barre, PA.
