Barbara Schmidt, 74, passed away on Thursday January 29th, 2026 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Barbara was born on January 4, 1952 in Dover, Delaware. She moved to Long Island, New York as a young child with her parents and siblings. She was married to Stephen Schmidt and had 2 sons, Daniel & Ryan. Barbara was an avid lover of Baseball and Wrestling. She loved cardinals and listening to 70s/80s R&B, Barry White being her favorite.
Barbara was one of a kind and was never afraid to tell it how it is. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her two sons Daniel and Ryan. Her six grandchildren, Brayden, Hailey, Lily, Riley, Ryan and Allyson as well her three sisters Patricia, Gerri and Gail
Her funeral services were held privately at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St. Wilkes Barre, PA 18702.
