Janice Lee Hill, 70 of Larksville, passed away at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center on March 13.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Hill in 2014, parents Isaac and Dorothy Van Liew, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Janice graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1970 where she was in the marching band, chorus, and orchestra. She graduated in 1973 from Middlesex County College with an Assoc. degree in computer science. She worked for Charles Kupper Consulting Engineers and Indiana General. Then in 1985, she moved to Wilkes-Barre and worked for Intermetro Industries, Trion Industries, and finally retired from C-TECH.
Janice was a past member of the Oratorio Society, Central UMC, and Askam UMC. She was a member of Firwood United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher, youth group leader, and with the hand bell choir.
She is survived by extended dear family, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 10-11am at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre. Rev. Gommer will hold a blessing service in the funeral home at 11am and interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
