June Hageal, 97, daughter of the late Helen Namey and Michael Samuels, died peacefully at her
residence on January 20 in Collingswood, NJ.
After graduating from Meyers High School, she worked all of her life transcribing
doctors’ notes for the Veterans’ Administration.
June was preceded in death by her sons Neal and Richard and sisters Marian Rushton and
Norma Samuels.
She is survived by nieces and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 30 from 10-11am with Trisagion at
10:45am at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Cemetery.
