John Joseph Sod March 7, 2024

John Joseph Sod, 80 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away at home on March 7.
John was the son of the late John and Emily Cross Sod. He graduated in 1961 from GAR High
School, then King’s College, and taught GED for 26 years at the Luzerne County Prison.
He was the funniest guy you would ever meet while being a very loving, kind, and generous
person who brought light and life to everyone he met.
John is already tremendously missed by his family and friends.
