Calyssa Parlante January 15, 2025

Calyssa Parlante, 32 of Philadelphia and formerly of Mountain Top, passed away on
Monday, June 5 at Temple University Hospital.
Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of Judy Kent and the late Mark Parlante.
Calyssa was a 2009 graduate of Crestwood High School. She was incredibly funny and
intelligent. Calyssa was kind, had a big heart, and was very strong in her opinions and
beliefs. She loved her friends and was very loyal to them and protective of them.
Calyssa is survived by her mother Judy Kent and her husband Tony, brother Mark,
Sister Ashlee, nephew Jaiden, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Mark and sister Nicole.
As per her wishes, there are no funeral services. Those desiring, may make donations
in her memory on Facebook to The Junction Cat Rescue. Mamary-Durkin Funeral &
Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St. Wilkes-Barre was entrusted with her care.
