Edward Hayduk Sr., formerly of Holland Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at Allied Services Meade Street Skilled Nursing Home in Wilkes-Barre, where he resided the previous 3 years.
Born October 4, 1935, Edward was the son of the late John Hayduk and Susan Tomko Spinelli, and stepson of John Spinelli. He was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, class of 1953.
Edward was married on June 7th, 1958, to the love of his life, the late Ann Miller Hayduk.
Prior to his marriage, he was Quartermaster First Class United States Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA. He retired from Bemis Corp., Hazleton in 2000.
Surviving are his son, Edward Hayduk Jr., Macungie; daughter, Karen and her husband, David Mahle, Lehman Twp.; daughter, Dottie and her husband, Jerry Bogumil, Mountain Top; grandchildren, Colleen, Hannah, Nathan, Jennifer, Megan, Marissa, Eric and Lori; great-grandson Benjamin Bogumil.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Flo and Max for all the quality time spent with him in his final years.
A private funeral mass will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St. Wilkes-Barre.
