Eugene Eyerman, 74 of Larksville, passed away peacefully at home on April 30.
Gene was the son of the late Eugene and Dorothy Eyerman (Pettinger). He graduated from Meyers High School and worked for the Salvation Army for many years as a warehouse supervisor and truck driver. He was also a Shriner at Irem Temple.
Gene lived his life to the fullest, enjoying all sports and activities, and was an avid golfer and bowler. He loved playing cards in the poker room at the casino and made many lifelong friends there.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 18 years Debbie, son Brad Kanarr, his wife Maria, grandchildren Stephen and Anna, siblings Lori Cooley and Tommy Eyerman, and extended family and friends.
Gene was preceded in death by his brothers David Pettinger and Frank Eyerman and step-son Marty Kanarr.
Please join the family in celebrating his life on Friday, May 9 from 4-6pm at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St. Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Those desiring may consider making donations in lieu of flowers in his memory to The Salvation Army ARC Wilkes-Barre.
