James M. Brieling January 13, 2025

James M. Brieling, 64 of Hanover Twp., passed away on July 12 at Hampton House.
James was the son of the late George C. and Mary Sinay Brieling. After graduating from
Hanover HS, he served in the US Air Force for 13 years and 9 months.
During his service he received the Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit
Award, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Stars,
Humanitarian Service Medal and many other citations and Ribbons during his career.
James was preceded in death by his brothers John “Jack” Brieling and Wayne Brieling and
sister Marianne Staley.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his brothers George, Stanley, Marty, and Mark.
A memorial service and interment with military honors will be held at 1pm on August 4 in Chapel
Lawn, Dallas.
