Jimmy (Jimbo) Thiemann, 26 of Warrior Run, passed away on August 5 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center as a result of an ATV accident.
Jimmy was the son of Jim and Lynette Slavinski Theimann. He was a 2015 graduate of Hanover Area High School where he wrestled and played football and afterward attended Johnson Tech.
Jimmy loved to fix and operate heavy equipment and trucks, work on and ride quads with his friends, collect Snap-On Tools, ride the trails in the woods, watch Giants Despair Hillclimb, and go to the “car meets” at Kirby Park with his friends. He was a true daredevil and enjoyed swimming in the reservoir on hot days.
Jimmy went to church with his mother and sister and recently developed a relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents Jim and Lynette, his little sister and best friend Morgan, grandmother Barbara Slavinski, his dogs Ollie Bear and Penny, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
A viewing will be held from 1-4pm on Tuesday, August 8 at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre. Pastor Tim Morris from Restored Church will conduct a prayer service at the funeral home at 3pm.
