John (Jack) Henry, Sr. passed away peacefully at 93 years old on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Village at Greenbriar.
Jack was born in Sugar Notch to the late Harold and Josephine Clark Henry. After graduating from Hanover High School, Jack worked until retirement as a printer at International Color Printing in Wilkes-Barre. He was an active member of St. Aloysius Church, Hanover Twp.
Jack leaves behind his son Jack Henry, Jr. and wife Ann, daughter Marybeth Fazio and husband Bill, daughter Karen Kett, son Thomas Henry and wife Yvonne, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his dear wife Jean (Klein), sisters Mary Jo Gallagher and Eileen Schmidt, and brother Dr. James Henry.
The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at the Village at Greenbriar and to the nurses of the Hospice of Sacred Heart for their excellent care of Jack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by at 10am on Tuesday, May 14 in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish/St. Aloysius Church, Hanover Twp. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp. There are no calling hours.
