Kevin P. Adams of Wilkes-Barre passed away Friday, June 16 th at Allied Services Hospice
Center.
Born in Long Beach, NY, he was the son of Caroline Adams.
Kevin was a Lieutenant for the Long Beach Fire Dept. After moving to Pennsylvania, he became
an owner/operator truck driver for Northeast Transfer.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia, mother Caroline, and brother Jeffrey.
Kevin is survived by his 3 children-sons David Merrifield (wife Debbie), John Merrifield (wife
Tammy), and daughter Jessica Cornell (fiancé John Slusarik), 9 grandchildren-AJ, Brittany,
Christopher, Kyle, Jordan, Jarrod, Stephanie, Eric, and Evan, and great-granddaughters Lily
Robyn and Aryah-Belle Ivy.
As per Kevin’s wishes, funeral arrangements are private in coordination with Mamary-Durkin
Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre.
