Marian (Weber) Zawilski February 10, 2025

Marian (Weber) Zawilski was born in Wilkes-Barre on January 8, 1926, to the late John and
Augusta Weber. She passed away on March 19, 2023 in Lakewood, Washington.
She was the youngest of 9 children. Marian was happily married to the love of her life, Walter
Zawilski for 43 years. She was a loving mother to their two boys, Robert and David. She loved
spending time with her family, baking, knitting, reading and sitting in the sun. Marian was a
member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mountain Top.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter, son David,
grandson Jonathan, and her siblings.
Marian is survived by son Robert (Marilyn), daughter-in-law Patrica (David), grandchildren
Aimee, Eric & Jason, great-grandchildren Taliah, Aiden, Riley and Xander, many nieces and
nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on April 15 th St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mountain Top.
Privately, she will be laid to rest with her husband in Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are
by Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St. Wilkes-Barre.
