Mary M. Regal, 90 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away after a brief illness on August 12, 2023 at
Allied Services Meade Street.
Mary was the daughter of the late Anthony and Veronica Yeninas. Her husband William
preceded her in death in 2015. Together, they owned and operated Regal’s Café in Wilkes-
Barre.
For most of Mary’s life, she was at home raising her children and grandchildren, whom she
adored. She loved playing cards and video games with them and going to the dollar store with
her granddaughter and best buddy Jessica.
Mary was a member of St. Boniface Church and St. Andrew Parish, both of Wilkes-Barre.
Also preceding her in death were her first husband Dominic Venturi and siblings infant John,
infant Patricia, and Francis Yeninas.
Mary leaves behind her son Richard Venturi and spouse Theresa, daughter Cynthia Collum and
spouse John, grandchildren Jonathan Collum and partner Alyssa Zuber, Jordan Collum and
spouse Danielle, Victoria Venturi, and Jessica Venturi and partner Sabrina Prynn, and great-
granddaughter Norah Collum, siblings Anthony Yeninas and spouse Lorraine, Jerome Yeninas
and spouse Kathy, Robert Yeninas, Angela Smith, Carol Raitter and spouse Frank, and Nancy
Meeker and spouse Arden, grand-puppies Charlie, Tilda, Arlo, and Carmen, and many nieces
and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, August 16 from 5-7pm at Mamary-Durkin Funeral &
Cremation Services, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre.
The funeral will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 17 in St. Andrew Parish, 316 Parrish St.
Wilkes-Barre. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church the morning of the funeral.
