Paula M. Bianchino of Wilkes-Barre, died peacefully in her sleep on July 29, 2025.
Paula was born October 27, 1954 to the late Edward and Beatrice Gallagher Powell. After graduating from Bishop Hannon High School in 1972, she went on to work as a clerk for the Luzerne County Commissioner’s Office for 25 years. She then worked at Career Link until retirement.
Paula was married to Fred Bianchino for 43 years, and she loved his family like her own.
She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, warm smile, and generous heart. She loved going to the casino and was a little bit of an Irish spitfire. She loved a good party and old-time movies and music. In her later years, she found comfort in her companionship with Ralph Sicozzo.
She will forever be missed by her sister Patricia McLain (James), brother Edward Powell, grandson Matt Balut (Sarah), great-grandchildren Charlie and Emersyn Balut, nieces Christine McLain Stuart, Melissa McLain Wickness (Matt), Katie McLain, and numerous relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation will be announced at a later date at Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. There are no services at this time.
