Richard James Jones, 78 of Mountain Top, PA, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on July 18, 2025 from a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife Antionette Louise Jones, daughter Lori Ann Gustus and son-in-law Gerald Gustus, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Eraina Boyle, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and loving, loyal companion Pal.
Rich was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Jones Bulman, brother David Jones, sister Sara Jones Spencer, niece Kelly Durham, and brother-in-law Miller J. Stella.
After high school, he served his country in the Army as an MP. Rich had a successful career with Smith Kline and Beechman. He lived a rich, full life, travelling and providing for his family. His family and faithful dog Pal will keenly feel his absence.
Private funeral services were conducted by Mamary-DurkinFuneral & Cremation Services, 59 Parrish Street Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Rich was laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery.
